Is there a host?
No. Just Dinner is self-led. Your table is arranged before you arrive, so you simply take your seat, order what you like and let the evening unfold from there.
Do I pay for my own food and drinks?
Yes. Your booking reserves your place at the table. Food and drinks are ordered and paid for separately, so you can make the evening as simple or indulgent as you like.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Bookings are non-refundable, so please make sure the date and time suit you before reserving your seat. If Just Dinner is unable to proceed, you’ll be contacted directly about the next steps.
Will I have to approach people?
Not in the same way you would at a larger singles event. Your seat is already part of the table, so you’re not walking into a room wondering who to approach first.
Wouldn’t a bigger singles event give me more opportunities?
It gives you more people to meet. Just Dinner gives you more time with the people you do meet. If you prefer fewer introductions and more time to see who you naturally enjoy talking to, the table format may suit you better.
What if I’m not great at working a room?
You don’t need to. Just Dinner removes that first hurdle. Your table is already there, everyone knows they’re meeting new singles, and the evening starts with conversation rather than circulation.
What if I’m coming on my own?
That’s completely normal. Everyone has reserved their own place, so you’re not walking into someone else’s group. You’re simply arriving for the same night as everyone else at the table.
What if I don’t click with anyone straight away?
That’s okay. Dinner gives conversations time to develop, and sometimes the person you enjoy talking to most isn’t obvious in the first ten minutes.
